The Social Grip: Llama Drama

The most recent full scale project I’ve worked on was The Social Grip: Llama Drama. After working on the original version of the game in 2023 we made a completely new and improved version of the game in 2024. With a team of 9 students, the Llama Drama was made during the last semester of the Game Design program at Uppsala University. The team split its time between the project and their theses connected to the project. My work on the project was split between my team’s thesis and my roles as product owner and level designer.

The game is a second-person stealth game in which players help the llama Dan to gather evidence from the offices he has infiltrated. The game was presented at the Gotland Game Conference 2024 and won the Almedalen library award. It was also nominated the best Art Direction award.

My goals

Currently, as a recent Game Design & Project Management graduate, my goal is to continue obtaining experience in the field of game development. Together with everything that I’ve learned and experienced, I hope to be a useful designer or producer to whatever amazing team I’ll join in the future.

While I originally just wanted to focus on becoming a game designer, becoming a producer quickly became one of my main goals during my 1st year. This is because I truly enjoy solving problems or roadblocks. And while I originally envisioned myself doing this just as a game designer, that changed from the joy I experienced of seeing my teammates excel. At this point, I’m now excited to go in either direction and see where the industry might take me.
